Hotel: The hotel is brand new, which is wonderful in terms of cleanliness. The location is fantastic for exploring Lisbon, central with proximity to main attractions. The staff was nice and friendly, welcomed us with a drink, too. We haven't taken advantage of the 24/7 lounge, which offers free refreshments (nice bonus after long walks). Room: The room was a good size, as was the bathroom (good quality toilettries too). The bed was incredibely comfortable with great quality bedding. There was a hand-written welcome card for us in the room, a slice of cake, a speaker to enjoy some music, tastefully decorated. The wrap-around French-style balcony on two sides of the room with incredible views was stunning - sightseeing straight from the bed. Unfortunately, given the hotel is new, they still need to catch some imperfections - when we walked into our room, there was a lingering smell of a cigarette smoke (which we could smell already in the hallways). It appeared to come in the room through either the bathroom vent or the A/C. We've spoken to the staff and they've come right up with us, trying to troubleshoot but couldn't seem to be able to fix it. They have offered to change the room for us, but we were too tired and loved the balcony, so we've instead opted for airing the room out by opening the balcony. Hard to say whether the smoke smell was coming from the hotel or from next door buildings, given the building is old. Apart from that, the hotel was a real treat.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome. The reception staff offered us a refreshing drink and provided us with all the necessary information. Our room, though compact, was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. It was well-equipped with a Nespresso machine and a variety of teas. The bathroom, while small, was stylish and had a fantastic shower. Breakfast was a highlight. The attentive and very professional girl served a delicious spread of fresh juices, pastries, cakes, quiches, eggs to order, fruit, cereals, cheese, and ham and more. We especially enjoyed the cozy lounge on the top floor, perfect for a mid-morning coffee and pastry. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a small hotel in the heart of Lisbon, on one of the main touristy roads. A 5 minute walk from the Praca do Comercio, the starting point for visiting Lisbon - the location of the hotel couldn't be better! We had a lovely, clean room and two balconies each overlooking different streets, and we could see the Sea of Straw from and the castle from the other. The staff were always warm and welcoming and extremely helpful, giving us advice about visiting the area. We really felt that as a small(ish) hotel, you get the personal touch. There is a good choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous location - couldn't have been better. Central to everything we wanted to see. Loved the room facing the street and being able to open the windows and stand on the balcony was lovely. We had no young children with us so it was fine. The team were extremely approachable and helpful and provided a map with great guidance around where we were and what to do. Loved the touch of the water and pastries at reception. Given the city centre location the room and bathroom were spacious, beautifully clean and well equipped. So pleased I booked this hotel. Hope to be back in November.

Hotel was centrally located and just a street down from the Santa Justa lift. The room we had faced the main street with a balcony. Staff was professional and courteous. The only comment is that the room temperature was set at 22 Celsius so it was warm for us. We had no control. So we did leave the balcony doors slightly open but you can hear the noise from cars and people. The weather did turn colder later in the week so the room was more comfortable then. The hotel is only 2 minutes away from the Baixa-Chiado train station which was very convenient.
